Jim has been actively involved in youth ministry, discipleship, men's ministries, and GriefShare. Jim serves as Chairman of the Elder board and currently owns and operates a commercial and residential real estate company in Roseville. When Jim is not working in some capacity, he enjoys time on the potters wheel or time on the golf course. His passion is the Word of God, being involved with people, and serving the Lord with all of his life. He loves shepherding people and challenging others to grow in the knowledge of Christ & serving the Lord.
Alan was raised in a church-going family but did not surrender his life to Christ until nineteen. After graduating from Prairie Bible Institute and marrying Joy Glass from San Antonio, Tx, he had intended to be a missionary to Japan, but instead, took a position as youth pastor at First Baptist Church in Auburn, CA. After eight years there, Alan had the privilege of leading in the birth of a Bible-preaching church in the Meadow Vista area, which is FCF. His vision for this seedling church was to see disciples of Christ made through personal evangelism by all the believers and the expository preaching of the Bible on Sundays, book by book. Alan was persuaded that the gospel of the cross of Christ would reach people’s hearts and minds as the whole counsel of God was preached. Alan and Joy have two daughters and a son and have employed both public and home education. Their thirteen grandchildren live near enough to be in their home almost daily, to their delight. Alan’s pressing desire is to see believers equipped for ministry and brought to spiritual maturity, by the Word of God, so that they would be disciple-makers. All this, while looking forward with eagerness to Christ’s return to put everything right and eradicate all sin. Maranatha, come quickly Lord.
Dave grew up locally in Auburn attending area schools and enjoying all the outdoor activities the Sierra Foothills have to offer. The Lord in His grace saw fit to save him from his sins in his early teens and he has been a part of Foothill Christian Fellowship from its inception. After completing his undergraduate work at Westmont College in Santa Barbara, Dave entered into education, teaching for twelve years at various grade levels K-12. He also enjoyed coaching basketball at Colfax High School for much of that time. In 1992-94 the Lord provided an opportunity to study at the Master’s Seminary in Sun Valley, CA, and upon his return to the Auburn area he began to serve as a pastor at FCF. In 2000 Dave stepped away from his teaching position at Colfax High to serve full-time in pastoral ministry at Foothill. Dave met and married his wife, Susie, right out of college in 1988 and they have two children, Justin (married to Shaina) and Hannah. In his spare time he enjoys working with his hands and being in the outdoors fly-fishing, backpacking, and motorcycle riding.
Joey grew up in the small, but happening California town of Colfax along with three brothers and two sisters.. When he entered college, his older brother Jeremiah invited him to a bible study, where he heard the gospel of Jesus Christ, and God graciously saved him. Eager to learn the Bible, he began considering Bible school for the future. In 2006 what he considers one of the best days of his life, he married his bride Amanda, his greatest earthly treasure. Together they travelled to Alaska to serve at Kokrine Hills Bible Camp together. Then in 2007, they moved to the wilderness of Los Angeles to train and become missionaries at The Master’s College and Seminary. Upon graduating, God opened a door for them to move to the village of Buckland, Alaska to serve as Youth Center directors. The hardest day he faced was when his brother Jeremiah went to be with the Lord in 2013. Due to health issues Joey and Amanda returned to Northern California in 2013, and currently serve at Foothill Christian Fellowship in Meadow Vista. They have three crazy boys that they are crazy about: Vincent and Julien (identical twins), and Jeremiah (named after his brother). In Joey’s free time nothing beats family time. He loves adventuring with his family: walking, talking, and of course trips to Disneyland. His personal interests include acting, film, theater, reading, writing, drawing, and other cool things.

Kristi has lived in and around Colfax, CA her whole life. She graduated from Colfax High in 2002, where she enjoyed playing basketball. Shortly after highschool, she became a mother to, Kayley Jade. The Lord used the challenges of being young, unwed parents to lead her & her boyfriend, Jimmy, to attend a bible study at the home of her former basketball coach, Dave Witt. It was through that study the Lord saved both Kristi and Jimmy. They were baptized & got married in 2004. Shortly after, Jimmy went off to serve in the Army but was medically discharged after contracting Lyme Disease in boot camp. Kristi began working as a secretary at Foothill in 2005. Throughout the challenges of Jimmy’s illness & life, the Lord always provided for their family. In 2008 He gave them another blessing, Kameron Jaya. In 2013, Jimmy went home to be with the Lord. Kristi has a heart to serve those hurting after the death of a loved one & currently helps in our GriefShare ministry. She can be found serving in the office, cheering on her girls at basketball games, enjoying time with family & friends, and hanging with Mickey in Disneyland.
